Medicare insurance,
Primary Care Physician , uninsured American
Are you
A Medicare Insurance Beneficiary Trying Desperately
To Find A Primary Care Physician
To Fill A Prescription Or See You For
A Serious Health Problem?
If
you’re in this predicament I feel your pain and your
frustration. Having said that, what I’m about to tell you may
shock your sensibilities…
America will
remain a sick nation until we do away with the need for
Medicare, Medicaid and most other health insurance plans that
simply usher patients along to the offices of Primary Care
Physicians who often do little more than prescribe medications.
This
dangerous condition is helping to turn many of our elderly Medicare
insurance beneficiaries into habitual prescription
drug abusers.
How can I
say such a thing? Simple… the actions of my patients and clients
don’t lie! Not a week goes by that I don’t hear of a some frail,
elderly person, usually a Medicare insurance beneficiary, who
was turned away for care by a Primary Care Physician’s office.
This in itself certainly seems bad enough. What really
gets me is the main reason Medicare insurance beneficiaries
usually give for their anger and frustration…
“The patient couldn’t get a
prescription drug refill!”
That’s the
number one complaint I hear all the time. Many Medicare
insurance beneficiaries are more concerned about taking drugs
than they are about actually restoring their health. And their
Primary Care Physicians often support this dangerous situation
by continually refilling the prescriptions.
What in the
world has happened to the concept of compassionate, continuity
of care? Is it simply to be compressed into a pill, packaged in
a cute looking bottle with a strangely alien sounding name?
I’m not
making a case for doing away with Medicare or other insurance
programs. I simply want Medicare insurance beneficiaries to
consider that there are viable and sensible alternatives to
living on junk food and prescription medications.
What’s the REAL
problem with prescription drug use and abuse?
Frankly, the problem as I see it, is a lack of reliable
information about the Human body and it’s hygienic needs to stay
healthy and well. This falls under the heading of preventive
medicine. Preventive medicine is not a particularly lucrative
profit center for most Primary Care Physicians.
When you give your body the attention it requires to carry out
its many organic and systemic functions, there is little need
for drugs or other palliations to maintain health and wellness.
It’s only when you begin mistreating your body and neglect to
feed it the necessary biochemical elements it needs to stay
healthy that the need for ‘special care’ arises.
This is when the average Medicare insurance beneficiary will
seek out a Primary Care Physician. This is the time to find out
how you can continue abusing your body without having to
suffer
the consequences of your actions. And this is why drugs have
such a powerful and hypnotic appeal to most Medicare insurance
beneficiaries.
Now, when you believe, as do the great majority of Primary Care
Physicians, that just about any health problem can be fixed with
a drug or surgery, then you have fallen into a deadly trap. The
problem here is that Nature is no longer considered the final
word on health matters. You’ve willingly given that power over
to your local Primary Care Physician.
What this usually means is that the Primary Care Physician is
artificially empowered to dictate the course and direction of
your rehabilitation. This is something that older and wiser
civilizations only relegated to Nature.
During the 22 years I spent as a consultant to hospital and medical
group management, I’ve known and befriended some of the best
Primary Care Physicians this country has ever produced. Every
one of those Primary Care Physicians knew the excessive drug use
and abuse of most Medicare insurance beneficiaries was harmful
to their health.
Then why would they continue to prescribe medications they knew
to be questionable and often harmful? Your guess is as good as
mine. Money, arrogance, time elements involved with in-office
care of Medicare insurance beneficiaries… what do you think?
Most Americans, including Medicare insurance beneficiaries, are
taught that germs and other micro-organisms are the cause of
disease. The theory is that at the beginning of most organic
dysfunction and sickness, germs are detectable.
Unfortunately, the average Medicare insurance beneficiary isn’t
aware that Alternative Medicine Practitioners are of the strong
opinion that intestinal and cellular toxicity and enervation are the
real
causes of disease states. A tired body, whose energy reserves
have been depleted by lifestyle and diet, cannot properly carry
out the process of cellular metabolism.
In this condition body cells are incapable of assimilating and
utilizing the food fuels they need and can't get rid
of
cellular waste products. This leads to a chronic condition of
organic and systemic dysfunction.
This gives way to depleting nerve force,
increasing cellular dysfunction and toxicity and eventually to the serious compromise of
the entire body’s health.
To take any form of chemically-based or otherwise
unnatural medications will only increase the body’s
toxicity, since drugs are generally considered by our bodies to
be foreign, hostile elements.
But, you see, the average Medicare insurance beneficiary
doesn’t know this. That person doesn’t know the damage
prescription drugs can do to a tired body already overloaded
with toxic waste.
Are Primary
Care Physicians to blame for the plight of Medicare insurance
beneficiaries?
To be fair,
let’s not put all of the blame on the shoulders of
Primary Care Physicians.
It’s
not Flu viruses, other germs or Primary Care Physicians
that are the major cause of our nation being in such a
health care mess today. The real cause of our problems is an
unwillingness by the great majority of Americans, to adopt
healthier lifestyles and more sensible dietary habits.
We want
everything to come easy to us… in a capsule… in a needle… with a
scalpel or in a pill.
Good health
and long life are not the by-products of third party health care
delivery entities such as HMOs, Primary Care Physicians and
other Caregivers. These are treasures that can be obtained only
by living a clean, natural life, without the need for drugging,
unnecessary surgeries or ill-conceived advice from many
Physicians and other Caregivers regarding dietary regimens and
lifestyle issues.
Is Medicare
friend or foe?
Medicare, and
frankly all insurance coverage, are mindsets. We like to
assure ourselves that by being on some insurance company’s rolls
we will somehow be healthier. We’re comfortable allowing the big
insurance carriers and government agencies worry about our
health.
We’re too busy
working and playing hard at running ourselves down to be
concerned with such small matters as preventive health and
staying healthy. If you’re a Medicare insurance beneficiary with
health issues, I suggest you continue reading everything at
this website to see what I offer as a possible, natural
alternative for your complications.
The idea of
preventive health care is nothing more than food for heated
discussions nowadays. Few Primary Care Physicians are
spending
adequate time with Medicare insurance beneficiaries and other
patient groups, to inform them about the benefits of living a
healthy lifestyle and a sensible diet.
Consequently,
our patient populations are not aware that there is a way to go
about life where you can significantly reduce the need for
medical services – prescription drug therapy in particular.
What can
Medicare Insurance beneficiaries do to address their health
problems?
You must
educate yourself on all available health care options before
deciding if prescription drug therapy is your only way out. Find
out what’s out there for you. See for yourself what others have
done to regain control of their health and their lives.
